Kahekili Beach (locals still call it Airport Beach, after the small airstrip that used to be there) is the easiest snorkel beach on the West Side to actually use. Free parking, restrooms, showers, a wide sandy entry, and a long protected reef parallel to shore — exactly the conditions families need.

- Facilities: Restrooms, outdoor showers, picnic tables, shade trees.
- Snorkel: Reef starts ~30 ft offshore; turtles common; head left (south) for the densest coral.
- Best move: In the water by 8 AM — afternoon trade winds turn the surface choppy and cut visibility in half.
